Essentia® Water, the leading alkaline bottled water brand in the United States, kicks off its Perfect Summer Giveaway promotion on Friday, July 4, 2014. The 60-day online promotion runs through Sunday, August 31 and is hosted on Essentia’s Facebook page.
The contest offers fans the chance to win daily hydration prizes and to be rewarded for referrals with $2 VIP retail coupons for Essentia Water.
One grand prize winner will take home a Riviera stand-up paddleboard that retails for $1,200.
Daily winners selected at random will receive an Essentia Perfect Summer package (approximate $65 retail value) that includes Jetflow’s new Steamer waterproof hydration pack and 5 bottles of Essentia Water (1.0 liter).
The contest will also have a retail in-store presence; over 1 million Essentia Water bottles will include neck hangers promoting the giveaway during July and August.
“Both Jetflow and Essentia share a commitment to providing consumers with innovative and clean hydration, so we are happy to team up with Jetflow again this summer,” said Paul Curhan, Essentia’s vice president of marketing & innovation. Essentia is the official water of Jetflow hydration packs, which offer a proprietary hydration system that replaces a soft-sided bladder with a water bottle, thereby eliminating the polyurethane bladder that often leaks, is difficult to clean and expensive to replace. This is the second time the two brands have partnered for a hydration-themed summer giveaway.
“Because stand-up paddle boarding is such as rapidly growing sport, we are excited to partner with and Riviera Paddleboards and promote our commitment to supporting a healthy, active lifestyle,” said Curhan. According to the Outdoor Industry Association’s 2013 participation study, stand up paddling has the highest percentage of first time participants.
My Thoughts: I was sent several bottles of Essentia Water to sample and review. It came at such a perfect time, as the weather was topping 90 degrees. I decided to pop a bottle into the freezer to get it all icy cold. I cannot describe enough how refreshing and crisp Essentia water is!
