The tray is simple to display and display for trick-or-treaters or party guests. Universal Yums will definitely be a fun centerpiece for your Halloween bash, as well as a cool topic of discussion as your guests sample each country’s treat.
My favorite treats are Thailand’s Pineapple Salt Candy. These are completely addicting. I love the salty/sweet combination. And who knew that they are full of vitamin C? No wonder I haven’t caught the nasty cold virus that has been going around!
Ukraine’s Milky Splash Toffee is soft and creamy, and deliciously sweet. I love the Strawberry Popping Chocolate from Italy! Can you imagine Pop Rocks in your chocolate? They are incredible! The Sour Grape Chewy Candy from Columbia makes my mouth water. It starts out as a delectable grape taffy, and then the center explodes into a mouth-puckering sour powder that will make you literally drool. (I love it!)
The Milk Chocolate Wafers from Greece taste like fancy KitKats, only better and fresher! And, Spain’s Orange Toffee tastes just like orange Tootsie Rolls.
I love it all! The box is generously filled with plenty of candy, so if you decide to share, you will still have more than enough for yourself. (However, If you are anything like me, you will not want to share ANY of this candy. It is much too luxurious!) My sweet tooth has never been so satisfied!
