Our baby girl is almost four months old and has been drooling like crazy, chewing on her hands and been a little cranky – all signs of teething! I couldn’t believe it at first, she seems so little for that but our pediatrician said it’s very common for babies to start teething at this age.
She’s just recently starting really gripping things and of course that also means she’s starting to try to put everything in her mouth like babies do. I wanted to make sure that when it came to teething products I was giving her extremely safe products that we felt comfortable with. We came across Baby Banana Smoothie Soothers and found what we were looking for.
Not only are they extremely adorable, these teething helpers are perfect for baby fingers to hold. They are also are hollow on the inside which means I can help baby since her grip isn’t super great yet. She also loves the pacifiers that you can put your finger in so she loved these, too! I love that I can hook her pacifier clips on them and attach them to her shirt when we’re out and about.
As far as safety, baby banana products are made from food-grade silicone so they are definitely okay for baby to chew on! They are dishwasher and freezer safe – which is great because having something cold to chew on can really help a baby with hurting teeth.
These products definitely sooth our little girl as she goes through teething and give us peace of mind that she’s getting a high quality product that will hopefully make her feel a little better because teething is NO FUN!! Our sweetheart tends to love the ‘pineapple’ fruit best so we’ll have to see if she loves that when it comes to real food too, after all her parents did get married in Hawaii!
