All Natural Glee Gum 'Make Your Own Candy' Kits

When I was a kid, I loved chewing gum and candy more than anything in the world, it seems.  I never gave much thought to how my favorite treats were made.  I would have been absolutely thrilled to be able to make my own, however!  Now that I am a mom of four children, it is refreshing to know that Glee Gum has created gum and candy making kits that you can do at home. It is so much fun to be able to show my kids how gum and candy is made.  It is like a thrilling science project that you get to taste afterwards. The best part to me is that these kits include all-natural ingredients.

My kids chose the chocolate making kit.  No big surprise there, huh?  

All we had to do is melt the cocoa butter, add the cocoa powder and sugar.  Then we stir until it cools to the right temperature; add the starter crystals so that the chocolate "tempers," and enjoy delicious home-made chocolate from scratch!  The kit also includes some cacao beans – for everybody to try.  A wonderful family project!
