It is the second day of back-to-school for my three oldest kids.  Best part is,  they aren't complaining!  Yes!  You see that is a victory for me as a mom to know that my children actually like school, because I hated it from Kindergarten until graduation.  I was kind of shy for starters.  I think I cared way too much about what people thought about me,  and I had very low self-esteem.  I was way too skinny and had a very non-existent chest size.  I wish my entire self worth was not based upon how I looked back then, because I certainly don't want my own children's self-image to be based on that.  I know I am biased,  but I do believe I have very good-looking children.  Best of all, however, is that I know my children have high self-esteem that comes from within.  They believe in themselves and that will get them much farther in life than outer beauty which unfortunately does fade away.
