I was sent the July 2014 Beauty Box 5 to review. July’s theme was: “Be on your game! This month we think you should refresh, rejuvenate, and be prepared for anything– you never when the next big thing will happen to you!”
Below is a breakdown of the products I received and my thoughts about each one:
Anna Naturals Glowing Mama Walnut Scrub – Light Citrus (sample size)
A favorite of all-natural beauty devotees and expecting mamas, this luxe vegan scrub is infused with moisturizing botanicals for safe and gentle exfoliation without parabens, harsh chemicals or artificial fragrances.
My thoughts: This facial scrub is perfect for the body or the face because it is really gentle. I used it in the shower after cleansing my face. I applied a small amount and rubbed it in a circular motion on my entire face, neck and chest area. My face was left amazingly clean and soft.
Give your lips a treat! Infused with beeswax, coconut oil, and vitamin E, these candy-flavored lip balms taste like the real thing (without the guilt or sugar-rush) and are utterly irresistible to men and small children, so apply with caution!
My thoughts: I cannot get enough of this yummy, hydrating lip balm. I keep it on my night stand and always apply it before I go to sleep. It tastes great and keeps my lips from getting chapped.
HASK Argan Oil Intense Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment (sample pack)
Plagued with dry, damaged hair? No more! Restore your mane to all its shining glory with this thick, nourishing cream that lasts for two weeks! Just apply to wet hair (you only need half of the packet!), wait 10 minutes, and rinse!
My thoughts: This deep conditioning treatment was just what my parched summertime hair needed. I applied it after shampooing and left it on for ten minutes. My hair felt soft and luxurious for days!
Miss Jessie’s Multi Cultural Curls (sample pack)
A true hero product for ladies with multi-textured curls, this styling lotion fights frizz and delivers the soft, gorgeous hold you’ve always dreamed of.
My thoughts: I do not have curly hair, but my daughter, Myelie does. I gave her this packet to try out. She applied it to her hair when it was damp after she washed it, and scrunched her hair. After it dried, her curls looked beautiful, like ringlets.

My thoughts: I love this mascara! It makes my lashes full and sexy, just the way I love them!
