I was excited to get the chance to review Active-PK supplements because I have a few pounds I have been wanting to lose, plus I can always use the extra energy.
However, I was a little scared to try them because I usually get extremely jittery and nauseated with supplements that promise to reduce belly fat and increase my energy. I have tried countless brands over the years with zero success because I would get sick and dizzy almost immediately, so I threw them away.
I was also intrigued with intermittent fasting, but I would get so hungry that I would cheat and grab a sugary snack every time. (I have quite the sweet tooth!) Thankfully, I decided to throw caution to the wind, and give Active-PK a try because this brand had really great reviews that I read online. I took two capsules (as directed) first thing in the morning with a full glass of water. The directions say it is best to take them on an empty stomach, but I was afraid of getting nauseated, so I ate a small granola bar. I was almost bracing myself to feel jittery, but that never happened! I felt pretty energetic by mid-morning, and had plenty of energy throughout the day without feeling sick or dizzy whatsoever.
I have been taking Active-PK for about 2 and a half weeks now, and although I did not notice any weight loss or any immediate effects, I kept taking them because of my increase of energy. (I babysit my very busy two-year old granddaughter 4-5 days per week, and I need every ounce of energy I can get!)
I also noticed that my craving for sugar has lessened, and that is huge for me! I no longer really crave sweets at all, or any snack foods whatsoever. I find that I only really need about one meal per day. And just last night I weighed myself and I have lost three pounds, which was a wonderful surprise, because I don’t feel like I am even trying to lose weight. The only thing I am doing differently is taking Active-PK every morning. I am really loving the energy that lasts all day long. My body feels stronger, too. I have definitely noticed that I have much more endurance than usual. I just feel amazing.
Update: After taking Active PK supplements for two months, I am down eleven pounds!
