Celebrity makeup artist, Denika Bedrossian (@dendoll), created last night’s makeup look on bareMinerals Clean Beauty Ambassador Hailey Bieber for the Met Ball red carpet. Please see below for the full look breakdown!
The Inspiration: For Hailey’s Met Ball look, Denika wanted to go with something sexy and mysterious to go with her stunning Alexander Wang gown. The vibrant color and shine of the fabric inspires us to go with a modern take on the classic Barbie.
How to Get the Look:
SKIN
For dewy skin using the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick SPF 25, Denika lightly buffed it in with the bareMinerals Smoothing Face Brush. She added highlight and natural glow by adding the bareMinerals BAREPRO Glow Liquid Highlighter in Whimsy. She then stippled it in with her ring finger, creating a natural finish. Adding a dust of bareMinerals Endless Glow Pressed Highlighting Powder in Whimsy gave that extra pop of iridescent pink. Denika also dusted it on the eye lids for an additional highlight.
Denika then warmed up the skin and added a slight contour by using the bareMinerals Endless Summer Bronzer in Warmth. She dusted the apples of her cheeks with the bareMinerals Loose Powder Blush in Hint.
EYES
For Hailey’s sultry eyes, Denika used the bareMinerals Lash Domination Liquid Eyeliner in black to create a dramatic and bold cat eye. She layered it to get an extremely bold pigment and brought down the liner to the bottom lash line using the bareMinerals Round the Clock Intense Cream-GlideEyeliner in the waterline and below the lashes. After layers of mascara on top and bottom, she then added a corner lash for drama.
LIPS
For her perfect pout, Denika mixed together Smooch and Infamous in bareMinerals Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipstick. This gave a perfect little nude lip to pair with the most stunning dress and such a sexy eye.
