Over the years, I have learned the importance of including protein in my diet. I would try to lose weight, eating only salads, or just skipping meals. I never lost a pound! I would find myself so hungry that I would end up grabbing something completely unhealthy. I had no idea that eating protein could actually help me to lose a few pounds. Then I learned that eating a healthful source of protein would help give me energy throughout my day, and would allow me to feel fuller. Therefore, I would be less likely to overindulge in unhealthy foods.
Protein is important for losing weight because:
- It makes you feel fuller longer
- It helps reduce cravings
- As you are losing weight, your body loses both muscle and fat. During this process it is especially important that you continue to eat enough protein in your diet, so you do not lose muscle.
I am often so busy that I do not have time for regular meals. I also do not eat a lot of meat or nuts, so I need something quick, easy and tasty to get enough protein in my diet.
Thankfully, I discovered Naked Nutrition. Naked Nutrition’s brand new protein bars taste absolutely amazing, plus give me the energy and stamina to get though my day.
I was given the chance to review Naked Nutrition’s Chocolate Fudge Protein Bars.
Chocolate Fudge Naked Bar starts with premium grass-fed whey protein, and we add other natural ingredients like almond butter, cocoa powder, and monk fruit juice. Satisfy your chocolate cravings without compromising on the quality of nutrition. Each bar contains 15g of protein, only 8g of sugar, and only 180 calories.
Chocolate Fudge Naked Bars are so deliciously satisfying that I never have the desire to eat anything unhealthy. I just never have the cravings. My sweet tooth is completely satisfied.
I eat one Naked Bar for breakfast, and then I usually eat one for a snack if I get hungry. Sometimes, when I am extra busy, I eat a Naked Bar in place of lunch or dinner. I love seeing the number on my scale getting smaller, along with my pants size!
Besides the delicious chocolate fudge protein bars, Naked Nutrition also offers their Naked Bar in peanut butter crunch. They have just come out with a pumpkin spice version of one of their most popular products, NakedShake, as well as their new Citrus Naked Energy pre-workout supplement! Naked Nutrition also offers scrumptious protein cookies! (Which I am looking forward to trying as soon as I can get my hands on them!) These cookies come in Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip and Sugar.
About Naked Nutrition
In 2014 former cross country and track All-American Stephen Zieminski noticed many supplements included numerous ingredients of little nutritional value. People trying to live a healthy lifestyle aided by supplements were being marketed health, but sold something else.
That same year Zieminski founded Naked Nutrition, starting with five single ingredient supplements, including the best-selling Naked Whey from grass-fed California cows and Naked Pea from raw yellow peas grown in the USA and Canada. No artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners and no mixing agents. You control the flavor and your nutrition by what you choose to add to Naked proteins and supplements.
