2022 is a record-breaking year for weddings, with an estimated 2.6 million weddings expected to take place by the end of the year. With all of these nuptials on the horizon, I wanted to share a few great tips and tricks to tackle a busy wedding season. Clean Heel Hack:
If you’re having your wedding outdoors or even just attending one as a guest, this clean heel hack is for you! Walking through dirt and grass can leave your heels stained and dirty. Instead, try this hack. Take a piece of parchment paper, wrap it around the edge of your heel and place a small square underneath the heel. Next, take a hot glue gun and place it over the parchment paper, creating a thicker, square heel. Allow to dry and remove the bottom piece of paper. Now, when you walk across grass or over dirt, you will have a protective layer preventing your heels from sinking in the ground! Once you get to your destination, easily slide the layer of glue and paper off your heel and you’re all set!
Wedding Dress Button Trick:
On many styles of wedding dresses, there are many buttons down the back that need to be closed one by one. If you want to quickly get into your dress, or help the bride into hers, try this hack! Using a bobby pin, simply hook the latch onto the pin. Next, you will be able to easily pull the latch over the button with the bobby pin, quickly and easily closing the dress without having to fumble with each button one by one!
Strapless Dress Hack:
If you’re opting for a strapless dress either as a bride or as a guest, you might find yourself struggling to keep it from falling. If so, try this hack! Using fashion tape or double-sided tape, you can discreetly place a small piece onto your skin and the dress, holding it in place the whole night. No one will notice and you won’t have to worry about your dress the whole night!
