4 Fun Ways to Enjoy Christmas Break With Your Friends

December 13, 2022 by Juliann

Every day with your friends is a special day but spending a holiday break with them has to be more than special! And since Christmas is just around the corner, the fun and excitement must be doubled now. If you’re planning to celebrate this Christmas break with your group of friends, here are four celebration ideas that you should definitely consider.

#1 Plan a Warm Dinner Party

Christmas is incomplete without eating meals and sharing laughs at the dinner table with your people. If you’re certain to have quality time with your friends, plan a warm dinner party which includes everything from meals and gifts exchange to after party. You can either plan it in your home or go to a remote place to have an adventurous time cooking meals together and having fun.

#2 Take a Stroll in the Neighborhood

What’s the first thing that hits your mind when you hear the word Christmas? A Christmas tree covered with twinkling lights, right? And honestly, what would the festival be without lights? All the bright colors everywhere add an extra magical glow to the cozy season and put everyone in a jolly mood. You and your BFFs can take a stroll around the neighborhood while glancing at all the decorations beautifying your city. To make the adventure cozier, you can grab a cup of hot chocolate along.

#3 Dance it Out to Your Favorite Beats

“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.”  ~ Anonymous

A dance party is all you need to complete your Christmas celebrations. Once you’re done roaming around the neighborhood, eat all the delicious meals – save some time to dance to your favorite beats. You and your friends can throw on a playlist of all your holiday songs. One has to be ‘All I want for Christmas’ by Mariah Carey. Play the songs and sing as loud as you can while grooving together.

#4 Try Other Activities

  • Hiking: While Hiking may not seem like the most typical celebration option for Christmas, if you live without your family and don’t have any other plans – Hiking can be real fun. By sharing time on walking the trails together, you won’t only get to experience the beauty of nature, but you will also invest time in your friendship. To elevate the experience, smoke weed along the way to feel high and have an awesome time creating memories. And yes, make sure to keep bongs or pipes with you so that you don’t have to look for a device to smoke during the trip.

  • Ice-skating: It’s the end of the year, it’s December, it’s the winter season, and you didn’t go ice-skating? Well, if not, you’re missing out on a lot. Ice skating can be super fun to try with your buddies and to have an exhilarating time playing with the ice. In fact, many claims that they feel like flying as they glide over the ice. And imagine how exciting it would be to push your friends on the ice every time they try to ice skate.

Final Thoughts

We all wait throughout the year to celebrate Christmas with our friends and family. Thus, ensuring that you have a great time to cherish until the next season is so important. Take the help of the mentioned ideas and have a blasting Christmas with your friends this time!

About This Blog

Juliann, founder of Beautiful Moms

Welcome to Beautiful Moms!

Hi! I'm Juliann, wife of 33 years to Jon, a mom to four amazing children, and a proud grandma to five precious little ones. I live in Oregon.

When I started Beautiful Moms in 2008, my goal was to connect with other moms who were also raising young children. It became a creative outlet for me to share my thoughts on motherhood, review products I loved, and work with brands that help make family life a little easier.

More importantly, I wanted moms to feel seen. It's so easy to lose ourselves in the demands of caring for everyone else and forget that our own well-being matters, too. Every mom deserves to feel beautiful, valued, and appreciated, no matter what stage of motherhood she's in.

Over the years, Beautiful Moms has evolved right along with me. My children are now all grown up, and I'm blessed to be a grandma.

Life changes so quickly

One thing that hasn't changed is my passion for encouraging other moms—it's simply expanded to include every season of motherhood—from pregnancy and baby's first years to raising teens, becoming an empty nester, navigating healthy aging, and everything in between.

Myelie, contributor at Beautiful Moms

I'm excited to have my daughter, Myelie, join the Beautiful Moms team as a new contributor. As the mom of a newborn and a busy toddler, she brings a fresh perspective on modern motherhood.

She lives in Alabama with her military husband, so she also understands the unique challenges of military life, frequent moves, and building a happy home wherever life takes you.
