Tips and Tricks that will Help with your Confidence

June 12, 2024 by Juliann

Do you feel as though you just have very low confidence? Maybe you want to make a change, but you just don’t know what changes you need to make or how to go about improving yourself. Either way, this guide will help you to make a real difference so you can look forward to a brighter future without worrying about whether or not you’re worthy.

Be Kind to Yourself

Self-compassion involves treating yourself with a fair amount of kindness. If you make a mistake, or if you experience a setback or fail as a whole then this allows you to take on the task differently next time. Be kind to yourself and accept that mistakes do happen. If you can do this then you will soon find that it is easier for you to feel better within yourself and that you can also boost the way that you see your experience.

Remember that you have to make self-care a priority and that you also need to take the time to focus on how you feel and who is making you feel that way. Most of the time you may end up that it is you who is doing the damage to yourself, but all of this can be avoided if you simply take the time to focus on yourself.

Confidence

Positive Self-Talk

You also need to talk to yourself positively. Negative self-talk can limit your ability, and it can also lessen how much confidence you have. If you don’t feel as though you can handle something or if you don’t feel as though you deserve something, then don’t do this anymore. Talk to yourself as if you are talking to a friend and remind yourself that you do have valid thoughts and feelings.

If you can do this then you will soon be able to find a way to turn things around. It is also a good idea for you to invest in yourself, above all else. If you feel as though you have bad skin, then why not take the time to look into Elan Skin? If you feel as though you have bad teeth, visit the dentist to see if there’s anything they can do to help you improve the way you see yourself.

Face your Fears

It is also important that you take the time to face your fears. This is the best way for you to deal with any issues that may stem from you having low self-confidence. At the end of the day, you may learn a thing or two from facing your fears too. You may come to the conclusion that making a few mistakes here and there gives you the chance to stop it in the future and that you come out learning something.

Whatever you do, make sure that you don’t hold yourself back and that you avoid not pushing yourself just because it is easier for you. If you can follow this then you will come out the other side with ease.

About This Blog

Juliann, founder of Beautiful Moms

Welcome to Beautiful Moms!

Hi! I'm Juliann, wife of 33 years to Jon, a mom to four amazing children, and a proud grandma to five precious little ones. I live in Oregon.

When I started Beautiful Moms in 2008, my goal was to connect with other moms who were also raising young children. It became a creative outlet for me to share my thoughts on motherhood, review products I loved, and work with brands that help make family life a little easier.

More importantly, I wanted moms to feel seen. It's so easy to lose ourselves in the demands of caring for everyone else and forget that our own well-being matters, too. Every mom deserves to feel beautiful, valued, and appreciated, no matter what stage of motherhood she's in.

Over the years, Beautiful Moms has evolved right along with me. My children are now all grown up, and I'm blessed to be a grandma.

Life changes so quickly

One thing that hasn't changed is my passion for encouraging other moms—it's simply expanded to include every season of motherhood—from pregnancy and baby's first years to raising teens, becoming an empty nester, navigating healthy aging, and everything in between.

Myelie, contributor at Beautiful Moms

I'm excited to have my daughter, Myelie, join the Beautiful Moms team as a new contributor. As the mom of a newborn and a busy toddler, she brings a fresh perspective on modern motherhood.

She lives in Alabama with her military husband, so she also understands the unique challenges of military life, frequent moves, and building a happy home wherever life takes you.
